A rough terrain forklift is a strong rugged vehicle. You can challenge the load and terrain both with this type of forklift.

A rough terrain forklift differs from a normal forklift. They are operated by powerful combustion engines and have inflatable tires with thick tread that allows them to drive over uneven rocky or gravel terrain. The power is needed, not only for speed, but for the heavy lifting. They are carefully calibrated to provide a counterbalance at the back of the lift that keeps the load from making the lift tip forward. A hydraulic system does the lifting.

Rough terrain forklifts make it possible for operators to transport tons of material over uneven ground.

We have many lifts that run on different types of fuel. Gasoline, liquid propane, compressed natural gas, and diesel are the most common.
